Caroline is the founder and driving force behind Runway Fitness. With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, her passion has always been helping people feel stronger, more confident and comfortable in their own bodies — in an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Caroline began her career as a professional actress and dancer, training at the renowned Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Her performing career took her around the world, from European tours to film and television roles alongside many well-known actors, as well as Latin dance performances across the UK. After a period living and working in the United States, she naturally transitioned into the fitness industry, combining performance energy with expert coaching.
Fitness has always been a central part of Caroline’s journey. She qualified as a Personal Trainer on graduating and has since taught a wide range of disciplines including strength training, Pilates, Zumba, Bounce, Pound and functional fitness. She later became a Master Trainer and the international face of Powerhoop, presenting at fitness festivals worldwide and coaching clients across the globe — including elite athletes such as a professional footballer playing in Milan.
After years of working in traditional gym environments, Caroline realised that many people simply didn’t feel comfortable in them. Too often people felt intimidated, unsupported or unsure where they belonged. She wanted to create something different — a place where people felt guided, encouraged and part of a community rather than left to train alone.
That vision became Runway Fitness.
Runway was built as a small, independent personal training gym where members are supported every time they walk through the door. It’s a place where people who may have tried other gyms and never quite felt at home finally find an environment where they belong. Coaching, accountability and encouragement are at the heart of every session.
Today Caroline continues to coach and motivate members at Runway every week, creating energetic, inclusive sessions where everyone — regardless of age, experience or fitness level — feels capable of achieving more than they thought possible.
Her philosophy is simple: fitness should build confidence, strength and community for the long term, not just focus on quick fixes.
